I came here last week when visiting Kamakura. Upon arriving, there was a wait line which was understandable as the cafe is quite small and was packed. I waited around 30minutes for a table and then was seated. Upon being seated, I looked at the menu and ordered with the server. I pointed at the items I wanted as I spoke. I ordered a tamago sando as well as a drip coffee and upon asking for the coffee, I was asked which blend I wanted and so I pointed and voiced out the one I wanted. 20 minutes later, my sandwich arrives. Since only one person is handling orders, I understand it might take longer and so I wait for my drink. As I am waiting, I notice the barista is making drinks for people who came after me. I try to get the attention of the waiter but I am being avoided. The other customer in front of me ended up asking for me as they seemed to never look my way. By this time, it had been another 15minutes. I explain how I haven’t received my coffee and they act as if I had never ordered it. A bit later, the barista comes and asks me to reorder. It takes another 10-15minutes to receive it. I had waited more than 40 minutes for a regular cup of coffee. I felt so dejected by the whole experience. When I went up to pay, I was charged by a woman(the cook and I believe wife?) and she is the only one who had shown me an ounce of respect and smiled at me. Upon payment, she expressed her thanks for visiting the establishment and the other two stayed silent. No apologies was ever given to me after waiting this long for their mistake.
