金澤アンモナイト — Restaurant in Kanazawa

This place is fantastic. We (western tourists) ate here twice in October 2023 and liked nearly everything very much. It’s a small operation with one chef and one server. If you don’t speak Japanese, they will start out by presenting you an piece of paper explaining their process and that they don’t speak English. If you have food restrictions, I would suggest you don’t come here, but if you like Japanese pub food and can eat meat and fish, it’s an awesome option. I have eaten here twice and both times I enjoyed the meal thoroughly. Having tried seven or eight different dishes I can vouch for the quality and consistency of the food.
