We took a bus to arrive (make sure you have coins, around 260/300yen per person, the bus driver was super kind) and then walked a little, super worth it! The walk back to the cultural center through the neighborhood is also nice. Now about the restaurant: the sir didn't speak a lot of english and we didn’t speak a lot of Japanese but he was so nice and recommended we try a menu they have so that you can try a little of everything (just pick your size depending on how hungry you are!). I truly recommend visiting this restaurant if you want homemade, traditional Japanese food made with a lot of attention to detail and love. Wow wow wowwww best meal in Japan yet! This little place has amazing whole plant foods with so much variety. Amazing value for money as well. We loved everything. Dishes with the chefs set came with a grain coffee and deserts which were incredible. Wow. Cannot recommend this place enough especially for those looking for quality and healthy vegan food. You can see how much love goes into preparing these meals. Little English but that was okay for us. This place is a bit out of the way but so worth it. We had the wonderful “chefs tip” meal. It’s a lovely variety of fresh, natural, vegan food. Very tasty and nutritious. The place is small but has a home feeling and we could feel the care and kindness in the food. it was a relief to us to find a restaurant that we could be sure that there were no fish or meat or garlic and onion ingredients hidden in the food. this was extremely important to us. And also that we could be with our music manager host in a restaurant like this was a real treat. He even enjoyed the meal ( he is not vegetarian).
