The restaurant was beautiful but their food was very overpriced. Lunch set was ¥4400 without drinks and with a mini dessert. The meat was so hard. It wasn’t worth it for that price. The kid’s lunch was ¥1000. The older staff, I think he’s the manager since he was wearing a black uniform. He was so rude, he kept looking at us like we did something wrong. We came here on our first night in Karuizawa because we wanted something good and fast. Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we were very pleased with it. The different cuts of meat were delicious, very tender and great quality. Also our rice dishes (bibimbam and veg rice bowl) were great. We had our table for 1,5 h, which was manageable, since the service is super quick and friendly as well. On 7/22 around 8oclcok, we waited for a long time and the server didn't tell us we have to write our name on the sheet. His customer service is very bad and his face has no smile, seem like he's discriminate on us. We thought Japan is a friendly country, but cuz of him, we have a bad impression on this restaurant and Japan as a country.
