NONE cafe Karuizawa — Restaurant in Karuizawa

We were looking for a cafe to have a cup of coffee and just chill out and we found it right here! It is nestled in a forested area with the soothing sound of river flowing next to it. The owner,Mr. Shinohara and his wife curated this serene sanctuary 8 years ago and we were please to have visited this cafe. It was surrounded by beautiful nature and the service was excellent. Coffee beans change regularly and the apple pie is tasty ! Most importantly, you will leave the cafe feeling rejuvenated! I will definitely visit again when I next visit...

This is now my favorite cafe in Karuizawa. The ambience is just my type of place. It's an open air cafe tucked away at the edge of the forest and while you sip your drink and eat your cake, you can view birds and squirrels.

You can drink coffee from Brazil, Columbia, etc or their special blend.

There is no guarantee you would see anything but we saw around 5 species of birds.

You can bring your dog inside!

They no longer serve meal food, only desserts. The cheesecake was very light and enjoyable, but there flavour was very mild. I only treated Graham cracker crust, no cheese flavour or richness.

The coffee was also nice, but not outstanding. The milk foam doors on top on the coffee and is not integrated like a barista latte.

The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing, however the partial service does diminish...
