An iconic and popular breakfast and brunch spot in Karuizawa, Stove Cafe Oxalis has a variety of western style breakfasts.

The “Karuizawa Toast French Suzette” is a delightful take on French Toast covered with Suzette butter sauce.

The Rösti Set is the owner-chef’s version of the Swiss soul food. There are larger versions which include waffles (Tony’s Special and Kevin’s Special) which are named after local regulars.

Coffee is served in a thermos pot and the owner and his wife will chat up a storm (in Japanese) if you sit at...

French toast to me very delicious with Suzette sauce. Rosti average but I just loved the vibes here plus foc parking. Homely. Whats there to not like? Food cooked on actual stove. Very small place with only 4 tables. But warm and nice given its winter. I will come back for the...
