HUB Kashiwa West Exit — Restaurant in Kashiwa

It was fine.The stuff we're really nice. The strong drink was strong but the weak drink was weak. There were a lot of people there between 5:30 and 7:30 and then it kind of tapered off. But it's a weekday, so that's to be expected. The lighting is nice and the seating is good. They're all set up for covid so they have a temperature reader and alcohol at the front. I just wish that the customers were a little bit more friendly -- that doesn't have anything to do with the staff or the place, but that's an important in a bar. It could also have to do with covid. So I can't say it would be it wouldn't be different normally. However, at this rate, I can't give it more than three stars...

It's a chain pub that claims to be British... well, it's not really... good try, but it isn't. it's heavily Japanized in the food and drink offerings, but it does ok. Only things I like are the music is western [albeit mostly older stuff, guess they can't get licencing for newer hits/releases], and there's no table charge. If you go often enough, their membership card offers a slight discount on everything [you'll see a slightly cheaper price next to things on the menus]. It's 500yen. if you get and link the app you will get periodic vouchers and birthday discounts too. My husband has the app and I use the physical card - best of both...

Probably the most western style bar near the train station, spacious with beer, cocktails and typical bar food, can be smoky though. Good place to hang out for a bit at the endnof the day and probably run into...
