Extremely Disappointed with the Quality of Meat โ Unacceptable!
I have always trusted World Spice & Halal Meat Mart for my meat purchases, but my recent experience has completely shattered that trust. I bought 3 kilos of beef from the store, and when I opened the packaging at home, I was horrified by the strong, rancid odor emanating from the meat. It smelled like it was rotten, making it unfit for consumption. This is completely unacceptable, especially from a store that markets itself as a reliable source of Halal meat.
As a Muslim, I expect that when I shop at a Halal meat market, the meat I purchase will be fresh, hygienic, and of the highest quality. However, this experience has made me question whether this store is adhering to basic food safety standards. Itโs particularly disappointing because I bought the meat right after Jumma prayers, when many fellow Muslims rely on this shop for their meat needs. To think that such low-quality and potentially unsafe meat could be sold to the community is both upsetting and concerning.
I attempted to reach out to the store to address the issue, but I received no proper response or apology, which only adds to my frustration. As a paying customer, I should not have to worry about the quality of the products I purchase, and certainly not after spending my money on something that is clearly spoiled. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and hesitant to shop here again in the future.
I urge the management of World Spice & Halal Meat Mart to take immediate action, ensure better quality control, and prioritize customer satisfaction. If you care about your reputation and your customersโ trust, this issue must be addressed without delay. Until then, I will not be returning, and I would caution others to be wary when buying meat...
ย ย ย Read moreI am a Sri Lankan. We can buy some Sri Lankan products from here. Specially, coconut milk powder. Dried string hoppers, Papadam, canned fish (Saman tin), some MD products etc. There are different rice varieties also available here: Japanese rice, Thai rice, Basmathi rice, Bhindi rice etc. I usually buy mustard seed, cumin seeds, dhal, dedicated coconut, chilly powder from this shop. There are many Indian products also available in this shop, I am not familiar with these items, example, Gee, sweet etc. I am going to this shop since 2014, I didn't have any conflicts with staff and they are friendly. But be careful with the expired date, sometimes you will find expired products. However, I recommend this place to buy South Asian products. One another disadvantage is that this shop is little bit far from the station. So, if you buy 15kg of rice, you have to carry them, you will 15kg is...
