It's ok. Just Japanized steak restaurant... Theme seems to be cowboy esq but inside there are shirts and boots signed by soccer players who have visited all over the place, hanging up. Kinda ruins the atmosphere a bit... Food was ok. Nothing special. Some things (particularly on the side menu) are expensive for what you get. The potato with tomato and cheese is expensive- 800 yen for what is basically half a medium sized potato chopped up with cheese sprinkled on it. 400 yen would've been a better price, or just more generous with the potato amount. It tasted ok, just felt ripped off. Soup that came with the lunch set was amazing. Tofu based salad was ok, nothing special. Beef patty was ok. Needed seasoning, but salt and pepper are on the table. Sets all come with rice (standard in Japan, but there are no other options, hence my "Japanized" comment). Chicken was good, a little overcooked... Probably because it's served on a hot/iron plate. Don't get the obsession with restaurants using these plates - steaks need to rest and those plates don't allow that to happen. And everything else just ends up overcooked/burned. Small amount of cut steak was good. Risked being overcooked because of the iron hot plate but I managed to move it off so that didn't happen. Let it rest a little bit and then found it to have quite nice flavour. Dessert was either a grape flavoured jelly (tasted ok, jelly! Can't/shouldn't go wrong) or a banana smoothie thing... I say thing because it didn't really work and didn't taste that good. Overall, not amazing but also not bad either. Hence 3 stars.

2023-07 柏市国道16号線沿いにあるステーキハウスです。 祝日の月曜日にはじめて利用しました。 クルマは店舗の裏に４台分ほど。国道側にも１台停められそうですが狭くて入りづらいのでハードルが高いです。 開店時間5分後の11時35分くらいに着くと、裏の駐車場がかろうじて１台分空いていました。 クルマを停めて裏側（？）から店に入ると「いらっしゃいませ。ご予約されていますか？」と聞かれました。 予約しないと入れないようなお店なんだろうか、、、と不安に思いつつ。予約はしていない旨を伝えると少し待たされてから、「お待たせしました。ご案内できますので、カウンターの奥のお席へどうぞ」とのこと。 ２人ぶんずつ区切られたカウンターの空いていた席に座りました。 これで予約席を除いては満席で、自分たちより後から来たお客さんは「満席ですのでお待ちいただけますか」とのこと。 どうやらかなりの人気店のようです。 メニューを見て、自分はこの日、ハンバーグが食べたくて検索してこの店に来たので、ランチメニューから「和牛100％ハンバーグランチ 200g 1800円」を。妻は同じくランチメニューから「カット＆ハンバーグ 1800円」（税込）を注文しました。 最初にスープとサラダ。 普通のグリーンサラダですが鰹節ときざみ海苔がかかっています。 それからさほど時間がかからずライスとハンバーグが運ばれてきました。 ハンバーグは細長い俵型を縦半分にカットしたもの。 小さなジャガイモ、ニンジン、ブロッコリーとコーン。 小さな容器にソースが添えられていますが「最初はなにも付けずにお召し上がりください」とのこと。 そのまま少し食べてみると、肉肉しい荒いミンチの食感でチョップドステーキに近い感じです。 しかし何も付けなくてもすごく美味しいかというとそんなこともなく、ソースや卓上の岩塩、胡椒などで味変しながら食べました。 希望すればワサビや醤油ももらえるようです。 妻のカットステーキは注文したとき「歯ごたえのある部位ですが大丈夫ですか」と確認されました。 「歯ごたえのある」というのはつまり「かたい」ってことだろうな、と思っていましたが、たしかに妻は「脂とスジが多い」と言って、脂とスジの部分をナイフで取り分けていました。 ハンバーグのほうも、荒切りのミンチの中にかなり硬いスジ部分が含まれていて、ときどき噛み切れないところがありました。 まあ肉自体は美味しいし、値段を考えればそれほど上等な部位を使えないことはあきらかなので、まったく不満はありません。 たしかメニューには書いてありませんでしたが、食後にデザートが付くらしく、マスカットゼリーとバナナジュースをいただきました。 国産牛100％のハンバーグやステーキが、スープ、サラダ、ライス、デザート付きのセットでリーズナブルに食べられるので、ファミレスやチェーン店で食べるよりは美味しくて満足度も高いと思います。

息子🐵と美味しいステーキ食べたいと思い、Google先生に教えて貰ったお店です(o´∀`o) ランチで伺いました😋 16号線は何度も通っているのに、今まで気が付かなくて損してましたよ(´･ ･`) 私は、かいのみステーキランチ100g 息子🐵は、しもふりステーキランチ100g A5ランクのサーロインステーキ100gとヒレステーキ100gも追加して、超豪華なランチ(*≧∀≦*)💕 ミディアムレアで焼いてもらった和牛は、どれも柔らかくてジューシー(´u`* )♡ 🐵「うまっ♡」 🐱「うっまぁ〜♡」 クーポンでセットサラダを豆腐サラダにランクアップ🥗 これがまた美味しい😋 食後のバナナジュースも嬉しかったです🍌 語彙力が乏しく、上手いこと食レポは出来ませんが… 二人とも大満足♡笑顔の止まらないランチタイムとなりました(*^^*)(*^^*) どのステーキも美味しかったですが、個人的に一番好きだったのはヒレステーキ🤗 サーロインステーキは、ちょこっと脂が強かったかなΨ( 'ч' ☆) ステーキソースもお肉に合っていたけど、わさびで食べてみたいと思いました(ᵒ͈̑ڡᵒ͈̑ ) わさびがあるのか、お店の方に聞いてみれば良かった😆 今度、伺った時に聞いてみます(*≧∀≦*)

This place has it all. I have only been here twice, for lunch, and both times I have fallen for in love with it's charming decor and delicious food. Momo Steak is without, unapologetically, the best steak I've had in my two years here in Japan. As an American raised on grilled beef, this is one of, if not only the places that I would recommend. The cuts of meat they have are fantastic. Hearing the country songs I would hear driving with my grandfather makes me feel 懐かしい. It is a wonderful place and it warms my heart knowing this is down the street from me. It is an absolute thumbs up, you will leave here with a full belly...
