Lodge Cafe Terrace — Restaurant in Kawagoe

Great cafe restaurant off the beaten track of Kawagoe. The building is reminiscent of a ski lodge or chalet, built with beautiful wood. They even have some skis outside to add to the effect. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Smoking is allowed on the outdoor terrace. They have sun umbrellas in the summer. Indoors is all natural wood with a high open ceiling and in the one and only loft window Totoro sits watching over one and all! The menu is excellent with reasonably priced lunch specials as well as their fixed selection. Mainly Italian dishes. They have the fixed menu printed up in English too. Very nice and helpful staff, friendly yet professional. It is very easy to relax here as a single patron, a couple or a group. They have some magazines you can borrow to read. Overall really nice experience...

A cozy wooden lodge themed restaurant run by lovely friendly people. The food is very homey and true to Japanese style western food. The dessert is very delicious, especially the cheesecake. Would come here again for coffee...

最の高！ 雰囲気のある山小屋風の外観に店内もテーブルやカウンターの椅子に丸太を使うなどのこだわりはマスターが一から設計して建てたそう。 店もさることながら料理が格別でした。 ランチは毎日いらっしゃる方のためにほぼ毎日同じメニューではないそうで気遣いが嬉しい。 遠方から某SNSをたよりにイチオシのカルビ丼をいただいたらお肉が最高に柔らかくて気がついたら完食してました。 マスターにおすすめされたポークジンジャーは鉄板に大きなお肉が三枚も乗ってナイフとフォークでいただきました。(もちろん別の日ですｗ) どちらもマスターオリジナルのタレでおなか満腹で帰途につきました。ごちそうさまです❤️

個人的にはアーモンドオレ(写真の)がおいしくてこれもマスターオススメでした。 お近く通られたらぜひ！

ランチタイムは禁煙ですが夜は喫煙OKでした。 店の外にいくつかテーブルがあるので天気のいい日はそちらでのら喫煙可。 入り口脇に木のベンチと灰皿が設置されていました。 駐車場もとめやすく、５台くらい(ちゃんと数えてなかったのですみません)かな。
