This is a gem in Kiso Fukushima. I was here in February, before the hikers come in. The vibe of the place is so good, it instantly made me feel at home. My wife and I visited this places twice in our stay at kisofukashima. My wife is a celiac (gluten allergy) which has made traveling in Japan challenging. This restaurant creates everything from scratch, and is very tasty!
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, if you're looking for a tiny little local spot with amazingly flavourful food, and their service is great.
Very accommodating, particularly for a Celiac.
Entrance is tucked away off the street up a little alleyway...
Read moreA lovely place with a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. They serve a some really delicious Indian-style curries that come with side dishes containing a variety of local vegetables prepared in interesting ways.
Great vegan options, and they can use coconut oil on their naan instead of butter, so the whole meal can be 100% vegan.
Extremely recommended - I live locally and have already come 4-5 times since they opened...
