蔵屋敷あづまさ — Restaurant in Kitakata

Kurayashi Azumasa, is a japanese restaurant specialized in Ramen. Kitakata, Fukushima is well known for its distinctive ramen and counts the highest number of ramen establishment per-capita in all Japan.

The special tasty ramen consists of flat curly, rather thick noodles served with pork, the restaurant serves various ramen dishes as well with a set of tasty appetizers and others like tempura, inari, konyaku (devil's tongue), rice, pickles, etc. The dessert is usually a choice of the tastier fruit of the season freshly picked from local farms or sweet rice pudding. The decor of the restaurant is just staggering as it is in an old store house dating from 1850, surrounded by a beautiful green garden, and near it souvenir shops also in ancient storehouses. The service is fast and the personnel are kind, for the prices it is affordable and reasonable for anyone. I totally recommend it

Was here as part of a tour group. I do not think I would be able to visit this restaurant if I didn't join this tour to Japan. The restaurant specializes in Kitakata ramen.

The ramen is exceptional. I was told its handmade. Broth is light but flavourful. Noodles are cooked just nicely. The sides are wonderful as well.

If you are in the area do give this restaurant a visit. The restaurant has a small shop selling handmade crafts and bags. And the building is so beautiful, with a small Japanese garden by the side. Quaint and peaceful. Quite an experience for a tourist like...

蔵づくりのとても雰囲気の良いお食事処でした。私はざるそば、主人はつけ麺を頂きました。その他、写真3枚目にある冷たいコーヒーと、まんじゅうの天ぷらをサービスで付けてもらいました。(今日11月現在はコーヒーのみの様です)

暑かったので、とても美味しくいただきました。 涼しい店内、また蔵づくりのお土産の 数々。購入はしませんでしたが、珍しく見入ってしまいました。 ただ、入口が分かりずらくて、迷いました。一度は皆さんも来店してみて下さい。

2度目の来店を今日しましたが、中華も昔懐かしい味でスープまで(全部ではありませんが)頂きました。美味しいです！ 今日は入口そばにある柿を欲しいだけ貰えると言う事で、主人が大好きなので16個も頂いて来ました。 大根の酢漬けとコーヒーとまんじゅうの天ぷらのサービスと柿まで頂き、かなり大満足です。ただ、柿は無くなればおわりでしょうが…

また、4度め今日も行きました。 メニューは餅ラーメン。800円で手頃なお値段。 味がまた美味しい。おすすめです。 柿も、もちろん一個ですが、頂き剥いて食べました。甘くて、渋みがなく美味しい。
