Jai Thai — Restaurant in Kitanakagusuku

The food here is pretty basic chain Thai food. It doesn't compare to your fresh local Thai restaurant, but for a chain restaurant the food is pretty good; I recommend trying the Ka Pao, chicken basil. I was a bit disappointed when I ordered my Ka Pao and spring rolls the cost seemed to be higher than expected, but I paid with my card and continued. My wife instantly realized the price was too high and asked for the receipt. Before we even got the receipt the employee immediately started apologizing and had cash ready to return for an extra meal that she charged on my card. Red curry was good, spicy. Portion size was pretty small though in comparison to nearly every other Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to, but the red curry was good.

For being in a mall food court, I’d definitely eat red curry here again.

I've also tried their Thai Basil w/ ground chicken, and that was just okay.

My wife and I ordered the Beef Phó (¥900 each), we’re both pleased with how it tasted. Broth had good flavor, noodles weren’t soggy and had nice consistency. Basil was a nice addition vice the mint we’re normally accustomed too. Could use more meat though. Good substitute for Vietnamese Pho but don’t expect it to be the same. The Thai Lychee tea was good but small for ¥400. Overall....if we’re back here at Aeon Style then we’d definitely consider...
