Authentic Italian pizza. I’ve tried many places in Kochi and none can seem to get the crust right. But the owner here studied in Italy and he’s perfected his craft. He only uses imported Italian ingredients and it’s reflected in the price but honestly it’s worth it. And if you ate in Tokyo, this is what the going rate is so you get what you pay for.

He works alone so you have to understand that you will wait for your food to arrive. But if you’re a foodie and prefer quality over quantity, this is the place for you.

Espresso was good too. He also serves standing espresso for ¥150 per shot.

We dropped by on a rainy day and experienced the owner’s warm welcome! He was kind to make us a pizza for takeaway as he couldn’t host us for dine-in service.

A mini Margherita was also done specially for our little one and he gave us complete set of cutlery (plates and even a pair of scissors!) for us to enjoy our pizza at our own leisure.

The pizza dough is really outstanding, blistered airy crust with chewy tones topped with fresh ingredients - tangy tomato sauce, mozzarella and fragrant basil.

We spent a wonderful evening at Loredana. The pizza's are made with the best dough and are topped very originally with local products. The chef makes you feel at home and is very attentive. We shared the menu of the day (5 different pizzas) with two other couples, and despite the language barrier, we understood most and had a lot of fun. Arigato and... Haru wa akebono!...
