Overall: Tasty and seemingly authentic Vietnamese food for a good price (dinner time).
Experience: Looking through the menu, many dishes were ¥980. There seemed to be things on the menu that I’ve not seen offered by other Vietnamese restaurants in Japan. Banh Beo for example (see photo). I ordered it to try, but this dish is probably meant to be an appetiser since it seemed to offer rather subtle flavours probably owing to the combination of only a few ingredients (I would say it is like mini rice pancakes topped with savoury powered shrimp and deep fried shallots). Maybe the shop caters more to Vietnamese tastes than adapting it for Japanese tastes since I can see many good reviews from possibly the local Vietnamese living in the area.
For my main dish, I ordered Banh Hoi Heo Quay. This was more satisfying as it had BBQ pork belly as protein and a some leafy vegetables to go with the noodles. Sorry forgot to take photo, but it was quite tasty.
Female staff (owner?) seemed very friendly and recommended some very typical dishes like Pho, but due to the summer heat I didn’t feel like eating hot noodle soup for dinner.
Hope to try the more standard Vietnamese dishes next time (e.g. Pho).
It was nice that there was 1 parking spot available but it is not so obvious since it is diagonally on the opposite side of the street.
PS: I think it...
