Manten — Restaurant in Kurihara

The dining here is simply exquisite and the meals are presented like pieces of art. This place would easily command triple the cost in any major city like Tokyo and still have sold out seats. It is quite lucky that they are so reasonably priced for the quality of their food.

The scenery is also nothing to scoff at. The design of the building itself offers private rooms: the best of which overlook the garden.

The staff are also quite friendly and helpful. And in the new age of dining safely during a pandemic, they thoughtfully offer bags for your masks so that you can safely take them off and put them on again. This coupled with wet towels to clean your hands, readily available sanitizing spray, and totally separate booths for eating away from other customers, is quite reassuring.

The menu doesn't feature any desserts that are friendly to the lactose intolerant. Nor is there any English language help. However, provided that you bring your phone, or a Japanese speaking friend, you should be able to enjoy your experience here without trouble.

I would recommend this place again and again...

ネットで見た　レディース膳が食べたかったのにお邪魔した時には提供してないとの事でとても残念でした。品数も多めで女子の好きなメニューだったのに。ちゃんとその都度更新してもらいたいです！が、その日のランチメニューのハンバーグ定食とカレーうどんは美味しかった。天丼の味噌汁付も美味しかったし名前忘れたけれど何とか御膳　レディース膳に似たような握り寿司が付いた御膳も美味しかった。まず、ご飯が美味しいんですよ。スタッフさんも気さくな方々だったし。提供も早かったし。お店の入り口　スロープなのなっていて、膝を痛めて階段が辛い自分にはよかったです。大きい道路のそばでお店の看板も大きく出ているし探しやすいです。また行ってみた...
