ダフェハウス — Restaurant in Kurume

As others have said the staff were friendly, the food was good and the place was clean. Price point was good too, 780 lunch set of a daily curry with choice of nan or rice, salad and a non alcoholic beverage. It also had the option of a second nan, though I passed as I was full. I got a lassi, which was a sweet style but had a hint of flavor beyond the sweetness. Next time I will ask if they can also do a salty lassi with some coriander. I requested extra hot curry, and didn’t need to take my Blair’s hot sauce out of my bag like in several other curry shops around. The nan was nice and light, best nan I have had in a while here in Kurume. Next time I hope to be hungry enough for seconds. Tuesday’s have a drink special; ¥100 highballs and ¥250 draft beer. I had a highball- wasn’t very powerful but was only ¥100. I will definitely return, even if they hadn’t given me a discount coupon for next time on my way...

Being a tourist, I wasn’t quite suppose to put an Indian restaurant into my pocket list, but I’d definitely recommend this restaurant no matter you’re local ppl or traveling to kurume.

I’ve tasted Indian food in my home town, and I’d sincerely suggest you to try the curry + nann. The portion is definitely price valued, and the taste are wonderful. Even you’re not a fan of spicy, you could still order a sweet / regular curry (I think they’ve adjusted the recipe to fit local ppl).

The staff speak fluent and good English / Japanese, so don’t you need to worry about the communication issue.

I think I’d come again if I visit kurume...

ネパールのお兄さんが、いつ行っても快く対応してくれます。ネパールの日常の話や、お祭りの話を、流暢な日本語で解説してくれて、いつ行ってもわくわくします。とてつもなく接客が丁寧で、誰を連れてっても喜ばれます。

席：テーブル席4人掛×6か7／カウンター4~5位 テーブル席とカウンターを合わせると、30名くらい収容でき、食べ飲み放題は、男性3500円、女性3000円と破格です。

駐車場：お店前に1台停めれます。コインパーキングも沢山あります。

宅配：3km圏内、1200円以上の注文からしてくれます。

料理：味にこだわってるらしく、玉ねぎはわざわざインド？ネパール？から輸入してるそうです。

何よりチーズナンが死ぬほどおいしくて、チーズがたっぷりすぎるくらい、たっぷりで、毎回おかわりしたくなります。隠し味？なのかココナッツが生地にさりげなく練り込まれていて、最初なんでこんなに美味しいのか分かりませんでした。

バターナンも、とってもオススメです。

久留米には、いろんなインドカレーのお店がありますが、ほんっとにダントツ１位です！
