This is the best sushi I have had after 2 weeks in Hokkaido! We were driving through Kutchan and showed up when they opened. We did not know they are by reservation only! They were so gracious and went ahead and served me, my two boys and my spouse. This place has a small room that holds 4 and 4 stools at a bar. The sashimi was so fresh! Short trip to Niseko with the family. With majority of the restaurants closed we chanced upon Taru Sushi in Kutchan. The husband and wife who ran the restaurant were so sweet and accommodated us even without a reservation. The food was very good, matching many top restaurants.
