Had the most amazing experience here! The restaurant is run by a couple who are the nicest and most friendly people we’ve met during our trip. There are 3 parking spots right next to the shop, but we weren’t sure if they belong to the restaurant or the shop next door. So we parked at the supermarket nearby and walked over to ask the owner. The wife drove us to the parking lot to pick up our car and park in one of their spots. They then gave us recommendations for Otaru and Sapporo and even helped us make a reservation at a popular restaurant in Otaru. As to the food, it was extremely fresh and delicious. We had the chirashi bowl and sushi set, both were great. Highly recommend!

Authentic, tasty sushi in a traditional little restaurant. If you don’t speak Japanese have your hotel call in advance and make a reservation for you as there is limited English (loved this.) Also you will need a reservation to get in as it is a small restaurant that is very popular! It was very good sushi, but not the worlds best. Greatly preferred the atmosphere and prices here to that of Hirafu village.

A cosy, slightly hidden gem in Kutchan city. The chef is lively and speaks English in short phrases. He also seems not to age... Portions are generous and the quality of the sushi/sashimi is pretty good. Prices are much cheaper than than anything you'll find in the bigger cities. The unagi don and negitoro hand rolls are worth a try (no pictures cos they were eaten too quickly).

The ambience was nice and cozy, typical Japanese with friendly owners. However, they are completely taking advantage of first time visitors to Japan that are spilling into Kutchan from Niseko. We've traveled Japan over 10 times and the prices here are absolutely OUTRAGEOUS for sushi. The sushi is mediocre, which is fine. But they charge about triple the price as a similar sushi restaurant and on top of that give you just one piece of nigiri. So you pay 3x more and get half what is normal. I also had the distinct feeling they were charging more for Gaijin customers. Would...

A small and cosy family sushi restaurant with great food and amazing atmosphere! My husband loves the fatty tuna so much and ordered 8 pcs just for himself! Best to ask for the recommendation of the day and try different types of fish. My favourite was the scallop sashimi and torched flounder sushi! Service is amazing and definitely a warm touch! The chef/owner was meant to retire in 2023 but decided to come back and work during peak season because there are too many bookings. His daughters are so hilarious and made sure we had a great time....
