Japan Ski Experience — Hotel in Kutchan

Edit: we just returned from our 5th trip arranged by these guys and the standard continues to be incredible, before, during and after the trip. If you are going to Japan to the snow, even if you think you can do it all yourself, just contact them first - you will be glad you did.

We booked our Niseko accommodation thru Ski Japan and couldn’t rate them more highly. Communication was excellent before and during our stay and they couldn’t have been more helpful. We had our ski bags delivered to the main office in Hirafu prior to arrival (thru Yamato), dropped bags to our accommodation and picked us up / dropped us off at the bus stop on arrival/departure. Private shuttle service up and down the mountain on request, even at short notice (which was our fault!). Accommodation (Ezo Yume) was excellent, with the house serviced every couple of days....

Communication was spotty. Sometimes prompt other times delayed 3-4 days. Their services really were not needed. Everything is so easy to book in Niseko before or after arrival. Because I booked through JSE I didn't get points for a stay at the Hyatt House. Also, booked a guide a couple of weeks before arrival conditional on being able to go back country (you don't need a guide on the resort). The back country wasn't open, but they sent a guide anyway and kept the fee. On complaining, JSE returned half the fee. The guide did nothing but ski with us that day for a...
