There are numerous authentic Japanese restaurants dotted around Kutchan town, but randomly coming across this ramen joint was perhaps a truly unexpected surprise and pleasure. Watching what I can only guess to be the matriarch of the family, personally preparing each bowl of ramen, and seeing the entire family working together to serve up what is possibly one of the most delicious bowls of super spicy miso soup ramen I have ever eaten, with 5 soft and chunky slices of freshly boiled pork slices (I saw Grandma pulling out of the pot in the kitchen a freshly boiled slab of pork!) Unbelievably cheap, considering the quality, and accompanied by five soft, exquisitely tasty gyoza. Cannot recommend this place enough! (Warning: the miso based soup I ordered was a little bit on the salty side)

No frills ramen, very authentic Japanese taste. If you're sick of the tourist trap food at niseko swing by to Nakama ramen for something more authentic and down to earth. Ramen soup base comes in 3 flavors, salt, shoyu and miso. You choose your toppings after that. Decor is very cozy and clean. Great tasty simple bowl of ramen that will leave you coming back for more 1 year later (2019)... Still the best ramen in the area! Just as good as I remembered definitely a high light of our trip.

Very average for Japan standard : broth was rich and good but too salty, charsiu pork was barely eatable chewy and fat. Noodles were fine with a good bites. Gyoza were ok, but nothing to remember. No special atmosphere in this restaurant, just a casual fast food. I had much better ramen and gyoza in Sapporo.

Awesome ramen eatery. Spicy onion miso ramen was tasty , not too salty and the portion (chasu) was generous! Rice with curry n gyoza was awesome too. Staff were very friendly and eatery has a very local few. Price is ok too and english menu available. Worth the visit!! Thank you NAKAMA RAMEN!

I had the Chashu Miso Ramen, the broth was quite good while the noodles and meat were kinda lacking. The noodles felt storebought and cheap in flavour and texture & the meat was chewy and fatty. The seating was kinda uncomfortable as well, otherwise a nice and cheap easy meal.
