Boulangerie 山﨑 YAMAZAKI — Restaurant in Kyoto

I visited here on a whim one late afternoon as a tourist from Sydney. The lady owner there was lovely and helpful as I browsed and even friendlier when I used my limited Japanese to explain I was a traveller. It turns out she studied in Aus and NZ. We chatted for a while and she even gave me a free pastry.

I got a cranberry mini baguette - it was still crispy on the outside, with good chew and just the right satisfying amount...

西京極駅徒歩5分の場所にできたパン屋さん『ブーランジェリー・ヤマザキ』です。 関西テレビ『よ〜い、どん！』でも取り上げられた話題のパン屋さんです。

店内は狭い中にお客さんが結構きている印象。

ハード系から食パン、デニッシュなどバランスよく置かれています。

中でもテレビで取り上げられたはレジの横に置いてありますがクリームチーズが間に挟まったハード系なパンでした。来る人みな、必ず買って行く。

私は目的の安納芋のクリームパンをゲットしたのでそれで満足。季節の商品はかなり期待値が高くなります。芋の香りが食欲をそそります。

食パンは時間にもよりますが売り切れの確率は高いです。予約もできるみたいです。

冬はイチゴかな？

It is a bakery "Bourgeryan Yamazaki" that is located 5 minutes walk from Saikyogoku station. Kansai TV "Yo-Don! ] Is a topical bakery.

From hard type to bread and Danish are placed in a good balance.

Among them, the one featured on TV was the hard bread with cream cheese sandwiched between the cash registers. Everyone who comes will definitely buy it.

I got the cream bread of Anno-imo, so I'm satisfied with that. Expectations for seasonal products are quite high. The scent of sweet potatoes is appetizing.

Bread has a high probability of being sold out depending on time. It seems that you can make a reservation.

Very small French pastry shop with a Japanese twist, where customers buy goods to go (absolutely no space to eat inside, nor outside). We had 3 different kinds of pastry, all were excellent. Would recommend this place for their splendid freshly...
