Kappa Sushi — Restaurant in Kyoto

So much fun and worth going to even if it's a bit further out for the experience. The sushi is good and while it's a gimmick it's great and we had a fantastic time there. Bring your Google translate to help decipher the screen and the tempura was lovely. Would recommend working out how to use the screen first rather than taking food off the conveyor belt as the train is good fun. Fun, tasty, and affordable! My only complaint is that when they are too busy (or when a group of JHS or HS boys sits closer to the front of the belt than you) and during off-peak hours, little or no sushi reaches your table unless you order it on the screen at your booth. 昔、新規オープンしてからは他に行く所ないのかと言うくらい混雑してた。近年、少しずつ客が減ってきてたけど、それを払拭したいのかリニューアルオープンの運びとなったようだ。

結論から言おう。 失敗であると。もう多分取り戻せないくらいダメ。 入店したら待ってる客が居ないくらい人が居ない。機械を操作して人数いれてレシート取ろうと思ったらすぐ案内するからそのまま待てと。 何度か待ってと言われてから結局機械操作するハメに。何だそりゃ。 席に移動して、見てみた変わった箇所は、回転してる寿司がなくなり、ベルトコンベアーが二段になった。 で、上にあった固定式のパネルからタブレット式に変更になった。 これ、二個くらい無いとみんな注文できずにツライ。

で、お茶を入れて寿司が届くのを待つ。 後に頼んだ、病院食の器みたいのに入ったラーメンが割と早めに来てから、延々来ない。 寿司が来ない。 どんな高級な店なのかわからんが、来ない！！

どの位来ないかと言うと、お茶が冷たくなる位来ない！ ラーメンはレンジだな。

最悪。 そしてボチボチ来はじめたら、皿で計算やめたようで、何個か一緒に１つの皿に乗ってくる。 最悪。 一緒に来てるのが家族や恋人だけとは限らんだろ…。 絶対失敗なシステム。 最悪。 それで、上にあった持ち帰り用のが無くなったな。

いやー。ダメだわコレは。 人件費上手に削減したのかな？ 寿司作る人減らしたのかな？

また来ようとは全く思えない。他の店行くわ。バカか。

あ、リニューアルして少し寿司のレベルは上がりました。ただ、安もんばっかです。 ネタの値段が高騰してるのか、キュウリ挟んだり、大葉入れたりの誤魔化し商品ばかり。

最初に沢山注文したのが揃うのに1時間掛かるとか…。 後から来たファミリーも遅いのに気付いて直ぐに帰ったぞ…。 来るまで待つから、する事ないのに我々は帰れない。 どんどん周りが帰ってくから、この様子なら多分この店終わる。

最後に。 会計時に数えなくなったので、店の間違いはそのまま請求されます。 ミスや間違いが多いので絶対に...
