Very nice workshop. The man and his mother will guide you through the many steps of drawing, waxing, dying drying, ironing your piece. They speak the essential English to help you do the work. You are included in all the steps of the process and shown how it works. I did my session alone so I had them all for me and it took me only an hour to do my piece. This place is very well organized and the owner try his best to explain the steps and gives you feedback to improve your piece. We saw a group of guests bringing their own design prints on a piece of paper and thought it is a good idea. However, there are plenty of templates to choose from. It takes about 1.5 hours depending on the design. It costs about 3500 yen per piece for us, which we think is very affordable. They have many beautifully drawn stencils you can use to trace designs on various fabric products (tapestries, tote bags, curtains).
