Ichijoji Boogie — Restaurant in Kyoto

Tskukemen was tasty, decent in all areas but not excellent in any particular area. Probably better to try a different restaurant on the ramen street for the sake of getting something more special.

Soup 4/5: tasty with Dashi, soy sauce, and a really tasty and unique garlic flavor sprinkled in throughout. Were it not for the freshness and uniqueness of the garlic in addition, it would be a 3 broth, but the flavors matched very well and the noodles were delicious to the last bite. The broth was a little thin for tsukemen as ordered though, so keep that in mind.

Noodles 4/5: a little soft for my preference, but still delicious and worked together with the broth. I ordered the 500g, and that was enough for someone who eats a lot.

Chashu and condiments: 4/5, nothing super special but still delicious. Fatty though, which I personally like but something to be aware of.

Overall a place you won't regret eating, but you can probably do better on the ramen...
