Few minutes walk from Matsuyama City Station. Good cafe to take a rest. Cozy and good atmosphere. With pound cakes, the price is at around 1,000JPY. Many payment options It was little pity that there was no greeting when the man opened the cafe and and saw us (one guy and me) waiting in front of the cafe for opening. He did welcome us once he finished opening the cafe, but till that moment customers feel like they had been ignored. I believe this small thing really matters even though I believe there are cafes or shops which hate seeing people waiting before the opening hour.

Quite a late review but I visited this lovely cafe last year around November. They had THE BEST coffee I've had in my entire trip during Matsuyama. I remember being quite tired from all the excessive walking and sightseeing but my fatigue instantly washed away when I had a sip of the iced latte I ordered. The atmosphere was also lovely and cozy along with the friendliest staff I've come across in Japan. Thank you for making my visit to Matsuyama memorable!! I still remember the taste of the coffee I had and would 10000% revisit on my next trip xx

平日の昼頃に伺いました。店内、スッキリとして無機質な感じ。外の眩しい日射しと対比してひんやりとした洞窟感があります。最初の注文と支払いのときから、お店の方が積極的に話しかけてくれました。注文したみかんジュース『にがいよ』の写真を撮ろうとしていたら、撮影用にボトルを席まで持ってきてくれました。『にがいよ』は、私が今まで飲んだことがあるみかんジュースの中で一番美味しかったです。私のような旅行客が何人も訪れていて、皆さんと会話が弾んでいて、おすすめのお店を訊いていた人も多かったです。私から質問した訳ではありませんでしたが、近くの本屋さんを教えてくれたので、行ってみました。そこに家人が好きそうなイギリスの1968年出版の古本があり、誕生日プレゼントに買って帰り、喜んでもらえました。偶然の幸運というより、私が出発の時間までかなり時間があることを知ったお店の方が、気を利かせて時間潰しの場所をアドバイスしてくれたおかげです。美味しかった上に、心遣いという思い出まで持ち帰ることができて、本当によかったです。
