Delicious sushi. Beautifully presented. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. We've been coming here since I was a child - the owners have become dear family friends.
Kuni san trained for 12 years as an apprentice at a sushi restaurant in Tokyo (Daisan Harumi Sushi) before branching out on his own in Misawa. That had to be around 40 years ago. The owner at his first shop recently retired and sent the decorative noren (door covering) from his shop to Kuni, whose shop shares the same name. He learned from a master and is a master in his own right.
