Went to a stall next to it. Didn’t like the cover charge it imposed. So went out of it. Chanced upon this, and decided to venture into it. THE WISEST CHOICE EVER!!! Waitress was so attentive she brought out an English menu when she saw us using the phone to translate. This sweet chef (in the picture) saw that we wanted to order and called a service staff to attend to us.
Food was absolutely delicious and fresh!!! And it was very reasonable. And the servers, all friendly. “Ok” was the word that we kept hearing ring out of the Izakaya. Very nice vibe! So nice and good that we went the next day, before we left Morioka. And the sweet chef (forgot to ask her name) remembered us!
All in, we stumbled upon a gem, and we seriously hope the next time we come to Morioka again, we can savour Momodori’s excellent menu and hospitality again!
Cheers!

Regarding bisuten, I had never eaten something similar before, you need to try! As for the rest of the meal, we ordered the speciality momodori chicken and stir-fried ginger pork. Both dishes were superb, one of the best we have eaten in Japan before. We cannot recommend them enough! Congratulations on the...

Their chicken is the best I’ve tried. The texture is tender, meat comes off so smooth, not to mention really juicy. The rest of the food too are really good!
The best part? REALLY REASONABLE. Below are a few things we tried.
Momodori Chicken - PLEASE TRY Stir fried Ginger pork SET - pork is really really good, it’s on the sweeter side FYI Gyoza - decent Fried Egg Roll - it’s just spring onion
