A line to restaurant almost always mean it’s a good one, and this one is one of the best! The best thing about the waiting is you write your own name on the waiting list! So you can go back later, and basically not worry about standing in the same place.
After about 20 minutes I’ve entered, the waiter was very patient, which was helpful as the menu was only in Japanese and I’ve used a translator here and there to translate stuff (I only know basic-lower intermediate Japanese).
I’ve ordered the famous reimen (cold noodles) and the beef sirloin and I wasn’t disappointed!
The reimen noodles’ chewiness was perfect, the toppings were sweet and the soup itself was sooo sweet and refreshing! I understood that in summer, also a watermelon accompany the dish however it was Autumn hence it wasn’t available, but was still very sweet and fun!
The sirloin was great too! Must not roast the beef too much as it’s getting hot really quickly! Every 5 seconds it must be flipped and moved to prevent it from getting burned. The taste was amazing, so tender and juicy, very recommended.
A nice couple who sat next to me also gave me to try Korean style marinated ribs, which were fantastic as well, very oily but perfectly complimented the entire meal.

Yakiniku can be ordered as an individual item during lunch time as well. The cold noodles are first of all impressive in appearance. The shiny cold noodle soup is crystal clear and looks delicious. The soup is mildly sour with a hint of spiciness, and the noodles are chewy, so I thought it would be the best food to refresh your palate during a chopstick rest in the middle of barbeque. It was just plain delicious, but I still felt that the cold noodles by themselves were not enough. I realized again that cold noodles are something to eat in between...
Read moreGreat reimen....but average meats. I found it a bit more expensive than some other yakiniku places I've been here in Japan.
You can request the reimen at different spicy levels, which is nice.
Just note - the kimchi is very odd...much different than what I am used to; it was a bit more sweeter and less spicy.
They have an English menu if requested. They also don't take any reservations during the weekends or holidays, but due to the massive seatings inside the turn over is quite quick. If you do come...you will have to write down your name and party size. They will call you once your...
