My family and I were heading back home this morning being it was our last day visiting the Sesoku area of Okinawa. We looked on Google Maps for a quick breakfast. Many restaurants popped up, but Camel Sandwich and Smoothie caught our eye. The reviews were all 5 star and the sandwiches looked very appetizing. The restaurant is small and has seating for about 2 people and they have parking for about 3-4 vehicles in a lot connected to the building. When arriving we were greeted by a huge smile and welcoming atmosphere. The owner immediately handed us 2 menus to help my family and I decide a little more quicker. Which we appreciated. My husband and youngest son ordered the pulled pork, our oldest son ordered the Philly steak and I ordered the Camel sandwich. Three of us decided to order smoothies as well, to quench our thirst. Two Brown Sugar banana flavored, 1 Berry Banana and a coke. Our orders came in a really nice cardboard box that came with a huge sandwich split into two and a side of homemade potato fries with just the right amount of seasoning. We sat in our vehicle to enjoy our meal because it was cold and raining. Let’s just say the entire vehicle was silent with words but noises from all the smacking and chumming into those juicy, fully loaded, delicious sandwiches. The pork was so tender and flavorful as well as the Philly cheesesteak. The Philly was filled with a nice cheese the made it all come together. The Camel special had a fried egg, nice crispy bacon sautéed onions with fresh lettuce and tomato and a hint of sauce. We couldn’t believe so much flavor was packed into those sandwiches. We continued to say how great our food was. The smoothies were freshly made from fruits and wasn’t too sweet which we all enjoyed. I’m so glad we decided to try this place out. We have no regrets and will recommend to any and everyone to give this place a try if you’re in the area. Even if you’re not in the area and want a great sandwich and smoothie for lunch I’ll say give this place a try. You won’t regret it. They only take yen so make sure to grab some cash. Thank you for such a...
Read moreFor a fantastic breakfast before your aquarium visit, look no further than Camel Sandwich and Smoothie. We shared the teriyaki chicken sandwich set; the chicken was incredibly tender and juicy, a perfect pairing with the crisp lettuce and wonderfully pan-fried bread. I enjoyed my cup of machine brewed paper-filtered black coffee as well.
The atmosphere is both pleasant and cozy. The owners, who share a passion for Camel, personally designed and renovated the space, which explains the name. Having opened on April 6, 2024, this restaurant has quickly become a local favorite in just a year. It’s also a popular choice for...
Read moreThis quaint shop, DIY by the owners themselves, offers a good selection of delicious sandwiches. While many opted for takeout, we dined in the cozy interior, at the bar counter that seats three. There's also a table out back which can seat four or so. We ordered a Chicken Teriyaki sandwich set that included a generous portion of juicy chicken and lettuce, along with hot coffee. The owner was warm and friendly and even gave us food recommendations around the area. I will definitely be back to try the other sandwiches if I'm...
