looking for something to eat around the Aquarium. Want to get away from the traffic. Found this in google. Super home style. Within five minutes drive drom the aquarium. Ordered the fried chicken with curry on rice. ¥550. Very friendly people. Looks like a husband and wife team. I see people picking up take outs. and seems like locals. She cooks an order at a time so it might be a little wait. But then, whats the rush when you are on vacation. The owner gave me a free cabbage salad. The curry is very mild spicy. The Karaage has a thick batter, yet the chicken is tender. It tasted great. Oishii!! Recommend. P.S. all seat are out door, so be prepare to get a couple of mosquito bites. I got two big ones.. lol

We were warmly welcomed by the owner and chef, who immediately made us feel at home in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The menu offers 12 dishes, and my wife and I decided to try three of them. Every single one was excellent. I had the pork cutlet curry, and it was outstanding—the cutlet was perfectly juicy and crispy, while the curry itself was rich and wonderfully seasoned. We also tried the chicken with chili mayonnaise, which was delicious, but the highlight of the evening was definitely the garlic soy sauce chicken. My wife and I agreed it was the best chicken we have ever had. Thank you so much for the amazing food and the warm, friendly service. We truly enjoyed our visit and can’t wait to come back!

This off-the-beaten-track local restaurant specializes in fried chicken - the best fried chicken we've ever had. The chef fries your chicken to order, and if you're taking out, you can wait in your car for her to bring the chicken to you. We recommend getting the No. 1 order, salted chicken, and eating it right away. The chicken was so flavourful, juicy, and of course, piping hot, and it was so good, we drove back to pick up more of the salted fried chicken for dinner!

This off-the-beaten-track local restaurant specializes in fried chicken - the best fried chicken we've ever had. The chef fries your chicken to order, and if you're taking out, you can wait in your car for her to bring the chicken to you. We recommend getting the No. 1 order, salted chicken, and eating it right away. The chicken was so flavourful, juicy, and of course, piping hot, and it was so good, we drove back to pick up more of the salted fried chicken for dinner!

We visited this place with a local friend. At lunch they sell fried chicken bento. Very reasonable price (around 600yen per box). The meat is crunchy on the outside and very tender inside, with just enough seasoning for out taste. Easily 5-star. The owner also gave us free shredded cabbage.

For dinner they serve yakiniku. A lot of delicious meat for an affordable price of less than 3000 yen (drink included). Free rice and kimchi too.

Bonus if you are a scuba diver and speak Japanese. The owner (the wife) is an veteran diver who loves hammerhead sharks and loves to share her experience with her guests. We learnt a great deal about shark-watching from her.

They also operate a guest house and a scooter rental shop. Only 15 min walk from the aquarium, it seems to be a great place to book for our next...
