This is as authentic as it gets. You walk into a traditional Okinawan Japanese setting with low tables and chopsticks everywhere. There's complimentary fresh, cold Barley Tea for everyone to enjoy (self-serve). You may have to get the kitchen staff's attention, but they're very ready to help! They run and operate all aspects and are beyond friendly. Even the other patrons are friendly (a patron helped me get some tea and a pillow to sit on on my first visit)! As a USA tourist, that's a boon and a half! There's even a toddler area! I've been here 3 times on my 2 week vacation and I have yet to see any place as authentic and delicious in the same levels. The owner is the mother with two kids and everything is cooked inside their kitchen. It's a really interesting and unforgettable experience.
