We found this by chance on a chilly night and the lady would redirect you to park further down the road as parking is not allowed on the empty lots nearby. Don’t be alarmed by her aloof instructions as she immediately warmed up after dinner commenced.

Came here not expecting a DIY okonomiyaki experience and was surprised that we were instructed to cook it our own, but it all added to the experience! There was also a 500yen cover charge which translated into an amazing butter clam soup as a good appetizer. The lady that runs this restaurant was very accommodating towards us, we didn't know much Japanese but were able to bumble our way through the instructions on how to do the self cooking okonomiyaki. We were seated on the floor with a grill at our table. The meal was very cheap and good value for money. Really quite a yummy meal. This place has such a cool retro vibe. It’s super cozy and feels like a little hidden gem! The obaachan who runs it was so sweet, and after we finished eating, she gave us a cute keychain as a little gift. It really made the experience feel special.
