Gurume — Restaurant in Nachikatsuura

Unsure how this got nearly 5 stars. The couple running the place were very nice and polite like almost everyone in Japan but the food was horrible especially for the price. I ordered a steak that was rail thin drenched in a sauce that didn’t go well with it. The sides where terrible too. It looked like a spoonful of what i thought or tasted like cold mashed potatoes, English peas, and two uncooked carrots. The soup was just chicken broth with flakes of lettuce and chunks of tomatoes. I ate there because nearly everything else was shut down and it had nearly 5 stars. But trust me don’t go here unless you wanna waste ¥2,700 for a steak that tastes like a bachelor who’s just learning how to cook and ¥360 for a lukewarm coke. I couldn’t even finish my meal so I just walked to another part of town were a local bar made me buttered toast with jam that was better than this despite being such a simple dish. Only cost me ¥300.
