Asahiya — Restaurant in Nagasaki

Inconspicuous Ramen and Oden stall hidden on a bridge behind a car park. Must try the Garlic Ramen, remember to add pepper.

They have an english menu and are very friendly too. A must stop if in Nagasaki city. I was full from a lovely sushi dinner, and I still managed to finish the ramen, because it was yummy.

Maybe you get to see the owner catch an eel or fish too. Bells jingling away from the fishing rod...

Ramen store located behind the carpark, came here at about 1030pm and sat and ordered instantly. Ordered the ニンニク and チャシューラメン。Ramen was one of the best I've had in japan, noodles were firm and springy while the char siu although cold would instantly melt in your mouth. The soup was also light and not that salty compared to others i have had....

Ramen is mid. I've had plenty of Rame and this was overpriced and not nearly worth it. So many better places to get Ramen. The noodles were cheap, the broth was nothing special. The only good thing was the braised pork, but only like 2-3 pieces. Way overpriced. Not worth it. It's fine in a pinch, but there are better places. Not worth your time....
