Ramenya Masa — Restaurant in Nagasaki

Local ramen stall with your usual "sit around chef" concept.

Ordering is performed using the machine. Do note the machine (ticket vending) doesn't have English words so I was figuring/guessing what they were offering. Once finished ordering, head back to the queue for your turn.

The staff will come around and ask about your order such as noodle/broil thickness, etc after you pass them your order ticket. The staff doesn't speak English but I really appreciated them for doing their best to explain to me.

There was a line to get in that wrapped around the side of this place, but we were able to get in for opening without waiting. Tsukemen was good, broth was not as thick as I wanted it to be. Still flavourful with good noodle chew. The server treated us a bit odd as the only foreigners and tried to explain how to eat tsukemen to me but little did he know I am a tsukemen fiend. I think he was trying to be nice but it was a strange interaction... :') he could have at least waited to see if I was doing it...

나가사키의 엄청난 인심을 느낄수 있던 집! 나가사키라는 도시 자체가 좋아졌어요. 이례적으로 주인분도 봤으면 해서 서툰 일본어지만 일본어 번역도 남겨봅니다. 본능적으로 현지 근로자분들이 줄을서서 대기했습니다. 3-5분 기다린뒤 입장했는데 일본어를 읽을수 없어 어려움을 겪자 직원분이 돈코츠라멘 생맥주 밥 세트를 추천해주셨습니다. 한국보다 싼 물가에 손님 한명한명 말을 걸어주시는 사장님에 감동이었습니다. 비가오고 고되도 이 식당 덕분에 나가사키 여행이 즐거웠습니다. 정말 고맙습니다.

The restaurant where I could feel Nagasaki's great generosity! The city of Nagasaki itself got better. It's unusual for the owner to see it, so I'm leaving a Japanese translation, even though I'm not good at it. Instinctively, local workers waited in line. I waited 3-5 minutes before entering, but when I couldn't read Japanese, the staff recommended a tonkotsu ramen draft beer rice set. I was touched by the owner who talked to each customer at a cheaper price than Korea. I enjoyed my trip to Nagasaki thanks to this restaurant even though it was raining and hard. Thank you very much.

長崎のすごい人情が感じられた家！ 長崎という都市自体が好きになりました。 異例的に主人にも会いたくて下手な日本語ですが日本語訳も残してみます。 本能的に地元の労働者の方々が並んで待機しました。 3~5分待ってから入場したのですが、日本語が読めなくて困っていると、店員さんにとんこつラーメンの生ビールご飯セットを勧めてもらいました。 韓国より安い物価にお客様一人ひとり声をかけてくださる社長に感動しました。 雨が降ってもこの食堂のおかげで長崎旅行が楽しかったです。...
