The Restaurant of Memories My parents recommended that I visit this restaurant in Nagoya, saying I must try their 35cm shrimp. And let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! The shrimp were huge, fresh, and crispy when fried—every bite was packed with sweet and juicy flavor. Whether you enjoy it with lemon or the restaurant’s special mayonnaise, it’s simply amazing. The staff provided excellent service and spoke English very well. Plus, the ordering system was modern and easy to use. Thank you for creating such a fantastic dish! If I ever visit Japan and come to this city again, I will definitely stop by...

The giant prawn at this place is very famous, and I really wanted to try it. However, when I saw that the biggest prawn cost about 3300 yen, it seemed too expensive for just one prawn. So, I decided to order a smaller one, which was still pretty big at 23 cm. The prawn was really good quality and tasted great, even though it was long. The tartar sauce was also really nice. However, I was a bit disappointed because I had expected them to use aka miso in the miso soup, as it is famous in Nagoya. Unfortunately, they didn't serve it that way. 35cmのシータイガー食べればよかったと少し後悔。 ひらきエビフライは「エビフライって、こんな美味しくなるのか」というくらいの違いがあり、特性のタルタルソースも本当に美味しかった。 普段、タルタルソースが苦手なのにここのは美味しかったです。 今回は20cm超のブラックタイガーのエビフたのでライをチョイスしたのですが、超特大の35cmのエビフライはシータイガーという聞いたことのない海老だという店内の解説を見て頼んでみればよかったと少し後悔しました。

ただ一つ、この海老どて食堂さんが致命的だなと思うのは接客ですね。 店長さん?と思われる男性スタッフさんが検温の際にオラついた口調で「はい、もっとおでこ近づけて!!」と言ってきたかと思えば、オーダー票をブックカバーに引っ叩くかのごとくバッチーンとはさみだしたり、、、、笑 わざとやってるのこの人?というくらいに。 名古屋に来てくれたお客さんに名物として紹介しようと思って連れて行っても「ガラが悪い」「名古屋は品がない」と思われそうなので、美味しいお店ですが一緒に行く人は選んだ方がよさそうですね。

I usually don't like tartar sauce, but this one was delicious. This time, I chose the rai because it was a 20cm-plus black tiger shrimp, but I regretted it a little when I saw the explanation in the restaurant that the super-sized 35cm fried shrimp was a sea tiger, a shrimp I had never heard of.

The only thing that I think is critical about this Ebi-Dote Shokudo is the customer service. The manager? A male staff member who seemed to be the manager of the restaurant took my temperature and said, "Yes, please bring your forehead closer! And then he clipped the order form to the book cover as if he was tapping it. 、、、、 Is he doing this on purpose? Is he doing this on purpose? Even if I took him to introduce it as a specialty to customers who came to Nagoya, they would probably think that he is a bad person or that Nagoya is not classy, so I would have to choose who to go with since it is a...
