Exceptional hospitality—even during their lunch break!

We arrived just as Gottie’s Beef was about to close for their lunch break, but the staff still welcomed us warmly and didn’t rush us at all. Their kindness and professionalism really stood out. Service was impressively attentive—our glasses were refilled quickly and the food arrived promptly.

Every dish was delicious, with generous portions that easily satisfied one person. The beef was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Despite being near their break, the team made sure we had a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

Most amazing meal we’ve had so far in Nagoya. We just came after a long travel day from Tokyo and spending a few hours at Legoland. Unsure of what to eat, we decided on Gottie’s BEEF since it was the first place we saw. Our server was Totuka Yuki and she was so incredibly helpful and kind despite there being a language barrier. The steak was one of the best we’ve had in our time in Japan. We got the skirt steak set and cut steak and tandoori set - both were deliciously and perfectly cooked. Ordered the mixed grill and the ribeye was very overcooked and dry. Being a restaurant that supposedly specializes in beef, I expected a lot more. Did not inform the staff after trying the food because we were hungry after waiting an hour to be seated even though there were several empty tables that remained unoccupied during our meal (staff was informed after we paid). The chicken and hamburg were reasonably tasty, but given the price (¥3,000), the experience was a letdown...
