Today, our family of four adults and two children visited your restaurant, expecting a pleasant meal, but instead endured an utterly disappointing experience! First, the staff insisted on splitting our group into two separate tables under the absurd claim that a "four-person table cannot accommodate six people." How can a restaurant that boasts Japanese hospitality fail to handle basic seating arrangements? Is a "four-person table" truly incapable of holding two children under 1.2 meters tall? This rigid and nonsensical policy is nothing short of an insult to customers' intelligence!

What’s even more appalling is that after being seated, we waited over ten minutes without receiving a single glass of water. Despite repeatedly signaling for assistance, the staff ignored us, displaying a shockingly indifferent attitude. Your restaurant not only lacks basic hospitality but also violates the fundamental principles of customer service in the dining industry! Such a dreadful experience is a disgrace to Nagoya’s culinary scene! We will never return and strongly advise other families to avoid this establishment, which fails to show even minimal respect to...

Kyoto-style beef cutlet is a masterclass in understated indulgence. This dish is lightly fried to the perfect black and blue, creating a delicate, crispy exterior while preserving an incredibly tender and juicy center that melts in your mouth. The flavor is rich yet refined, allowing the natural taste of high-quality beef to shine.

What makes the experience even better is the unique touch of being served with a personal grill plate, offering you the freedom to adjust the doneness exactly to your liking. Whether you prefer it with a bit more sear or enjoy it rare, the option elevates this dish, making it both interactive and deeply satisfying. With each bite, the savory layers of the beef deepen, making Kyoto-style beef cutlet a must-try for anyone who appreciates a blend of delicate textures and rich flavors. This is comfort food taken to an entirely new level, where every detail is crafted to enhance the simple joy of savoring...

The quality, service, and portions were not as good at this location as the Osaka and Hiroshima locations. Pictured is the Osaka location compared to this location.

In particular, the portion of meat was much smaller, and the quality of the radish and ponzu was not good (watered down, no flavor - you can even see how white it is).

The additional dishes were also twice as expensive, but did not seem any larger than at the other locations.

Service here was okay, a little slow and hard to get their attention. The service at the other locations...

Fantastic meal just outside of Legoland or a stone’s throw away from SCMaglev Museum. There are various cuts of beef available, but the Japanese sirloin was top notch. Instructions were provided on the table incase it is your first time at a Gyukatsu joint. To me, the best combination is with wasabi. Kids meals are also available, and they will bring over a basket of toys for the kids to select together with their lunch set. All in all, a brilliant meal here. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing. Some might think it will not be great as it's adjacent to Lego Land Japan, but it is high quality. We didn't get the opportunity to visit the Kyoto store, but I'm so happy my family visited this restaurant. The staff are amazing, the food fresh and staff highly attentive. I recommend getting the set with an extra portion as the meat is juicy, tender and top quality.
