Higashiyama-Garden Port Messe-ten — Restaurant in Nagoya

Great little cafe in a convenient location if you're attending an event at Port Messe Nagoya! My event started at noon and I got there a little early so I decided to have lunch when this little place caught my eye. I got the set pictured below, which came with both a mini Hitsumabushi (a special eel dish) and kishimen (those flat noodles)! Sold! A pretty good value considering it includes eel; normally Hitsumabushi is 3000 yen or more, but this set was half that! If it's your first time in Nagoya, I highly recommend this set so you can try two famous Nagoya foods at once! 先に食券を買ってから予約表に名前を書くようになっているとのことだが、そのことはどこにも書かれていないため不親切。店員さんからの説明も無し。店の奥まで入って店員さんと揉め気味の人がいたけど、そりゃそうなるよねって思う。

待ちが結構いたので先に予約表に名前を書いてから食券を買ったのだが、食券を購入中に名前を呼ばれ、まだ人数分の食券が揃っていないことが分かると、店員さんは次に待っていた家族を先に案内。まぁこれはいい。

問題は、まだ席に案内されていないのに予約表から名前を消して次の次の人を案内したこと。妻がそれに気が付いたから良かったものの、気が付いていなかったら延々と待たされていたんだろうと思うと怒りが湧いてきてしまう。

ちなみに料理を運んできた店員さんは、「〇〇をご注文のお客様？」→「はい」と手を挙げた人と反対に居る人に配膳しちゃっていました。
