Very bad experience whether you're a foreigner or Japanese. The buffet itself is overpriced coming to over 2700yen per adult on a weekend if you include the drink menu which all members of a party must pay for even if only 1 person decides to drink.
The food is surprisingly low-ish quality for the most part; several things seemed pre-made from fridge/frozen like croquettes/sausage. Most importantly all food has a very bland taste for the most part apart from the meat (which is ok, but only 2 kinds of meat, just roast beef/pork and NO STEAK in a very small portion that you must constantly wait in line for the staff to serve 1 by 1) However, every North American buffet including Chinese will easily have better and more choice of meats. Even the 3 choice of deserts and coffee was extremely bland.
The bad music played throughout the day makes the ambiance quite bad as well. Overall, the main issue is the price, the queuing in line for meat and the poor taste/quality of food even compared to buffets in Japan that are less than half the price of this place. I felt stupid paying 7500yen for 2 adults and 1 child. I usually eat a lot more than most, but I literally only had 1- 2 smallish plates and just some desert because nothing was very good and it's annoying to go back in line in crowded alleys dodging people to get more food.
My family was even wondering how all the people around us and in reviews could actually like this place. I'm a bit of an all-you-can eat and buffet aficionado and this was easily the worst I've been to in Japan in my 4 years...
Read moreThe place is a joke! They have this huge poster with roasted beef buffet, but what they not tell is that you will get like 15 grams of meat for one time and you’ll need to stand in line every time you want to get that 15 grams and it’s not allowed to take more. You can see the amount on my pictures it’s a 2 times line of meat. Also the attitude of kitchen stuff (the looked like manager to me) was way off. Other stuff is ok. As for the food it’s good. Fresh salad, more then a half of dishes was tasty. The place itself looks very cute. Oshare as they say. I don’t think I’d ever go there...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Otto Meieki Buffet Paradise, and it was a fantastic experience. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, but what really stood out was the excellent selection of beef. From tender cuts of steak to perfectly cooked roast beef, each dish was flavorful and well-prepared.
The buffet also offers a wide range of other dishes, from seafood and fresh vegetables to salads and desserts, making it easy to find something for everyone. The ingredients were fresh, and the turnover of food was quick, ensuring everything was served...
