Check in was easy. All areas were clean. Pretty close to Nagoya station as well so it was easy to take the train.
At check in, they provide you with a card with your check in/check out dates, your locker/pod number, and a QR code and a breakfast coupon (if you chose that option) for one morning. If you stay multiple nights they will give you a breakfast coupon once a day every day you are there. The QR code is used to access the elevator and to open your locker.
You are required to check out every morning at 10 AM, regardless if you are staying multiple nights. Between 10AM-2PM they clean the capsules, so you are not allowed in during that time. You can, however, keep your stuff in your locker during this time, you just can’t access it until after 2PM. If I remember correctly though, you are allowed to access the lounge area on the 10th floor (double check with them on that though).
Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, loungewear, slippers, and towels were all provided and were good quality in my opinion, so if you decide to stay here you don’t need to worry about bringing any of that stuff (unless you have specific needs in terms of hygienic products). Hairdryers were also available to use. I saw in previous reviews some people complained about the hair dryer strength being too weak, so I brought my own just in case, but I thought the ones the hotel provided were just fine.
Capsule was comfy enough for me, but the mattress pad and pillow were on the harder side, so if you require very soft bedding, I would not recommend you stay here. Personally, I didn’t mind and I slept pretty good. There is also a regular plug for your phone or laptop charger, a USB plug, a light switch, and two small shelves inside of the capsule for you to use as you like.
I also paid for the breakfast option, in which they let you choose between certain drinks (all I remember as the choices were coffee and orange juice but I’m pretty sure they had one or two more options available), and different types or bread/pastries. For both mornings I had breakfast I had the option to choose either banana bread or a caramel scone. I had one each and they were both delicious. For anyone who requires a large breakfast, don’t get the breakfast option. I don’t usually eat breakfast on the regular, so the bread/pastry with coffee was good enough for me. Although it is a tad pricey to add the breakfast option on, but I think it’s because that place has a kind of classy feel to it.
Overall, I would recommend this place to friends and I would stay here...

*Things to note: -Different staff every day, and none of them speak English. -They wake you up at 9:30 am for you to check out at 10 am every day during your stay. Check-in again is at 2 pm every day. YOU CAN'T BE IN THE HOTEL EXCEPT FOR THE 10TH FLOOR (COMMON SPACE); therefore, you CAN'T ACCESS THE LOCKERS OR DORMS EVERY DAY FROM 10 am-2 pm -They have one single elevator for the 10 floors of the building, so imagine the time you need to wait every time you need to use it, +5 minutes. -If you go with friends, family, or a couple that are not of the same gender, note that you can't see them during your stay; the place is divided by gender, and you can't go to their area and vice versa; each gender has its own elevator. -They don't have tap water; you need to purchase bottled water from them. -Dorms are on one floor, showers on another floor, bathrooms on another floor, only 1 very small common space on the 10th floor, therefore, is very crowded, and reception on the 1st floor. -They don't have extra blankets, even if you are willing to pay for them. -You can't be on the 1st floor where there is a cafe unless you buy a 33,000 yen coffee. -Beds and especially pillows are very uncomfortable. -The dorms are very stuffy and brightly lit at night. -The place was dirty every day of our stay. -They don't know how to enforce rules for guests; there were people talking on the phone at 1 am, they had loud alarms in the morning, and the staff does nothing. -One staff member did everything in her power to prevent me from asking the coffee shop for a tiny glass of water needed for my tea, even though I had previously bought a coffee for 33,000 yen. It's very inhuman to prevent someone from asking for something, especially water, which is free in Japan. Plus, she explained that they are different businesses, so why does she care what I ask another business?
It was a nightmare for my partner, the people I met there, and me to stay at this hotel. We should have read the reviews about this place that clearly describe all the horrible things you experience when staying at...
Read moreStayed for one night because I needed a place to just sleep and this was the cheapest (about 3000 yen). Overall the stay was okay, the capsule room was very quiet and I could get a good sleep (personally I loved the thin mattress and firm pillow), amenities were basic but present (pajama that fits up to a Japanese XXL, slippers and toothbrush you have to request, towels, shampoo/conditioner/body soap in shower, other stuff available upon payment), the showers had a lot of hair (to be expected with women) but overall were clean and I liked that there was room to change in them, and I liked the separate floor for showers/lockers far from the capsules (also women have their own elevator, showers and rooms). However, this is a kinda subpar place compared to other capsule hotels I stayed at. Some of the reasons: the showers only have a little shelf to put your stuff, I wish there was at least a hook or something especially when other guests forget their towels taking up more of the already small space. Plus, as someone else mentioned, in some of them the sealing is coming off and you can see through the door. -the space for the lockers is waaay too cramped, particularly considering this is the only place where you can manage your luggage. There is barely space to open a small luggage. -Light at night /early morning in the sink area is atrocious, so dim you can barely see, no way to do your make up there and no dedicated area for make up so it gets crowded I showered in the evening and very early morning, in the evening at 11 PM the showers were full and I had to wait. Can't imagine how it is at peak hours the capsules have only one USB outlet, no air conditioning and only a curtain to block noise out. Unclear how to set an alarm without waking up everyone and you hear everything if people are noisy. who puts carpet under a toilet? Ew
Overall it looks like the place put all the effort in looking cool instead of being actually practical for people using it. I'd only stay again if it's for a quick sleep and only if the price is very low compared to business hotels (which go for about 5000 these days due to...
