Chaboo — Restaurant in Naha

Went in with high expectations but don't think they were met. The portion sizes for two people seemed small to us (non locals) and would have liked a better variety of vegetables. Also, I know they don't want to provide more sauces but to me the pork flavour was not strong enough on its own. The seating area was nice but I could smell smoke from the other side of the restaurant. The interactions with the staff were also a little strange but we are foreigners so maybe...

あぐー豚は甘くて濃厚で、野菜も新鮮でシメも美味しくいただきました。

ただ、接客対応とメニューの表記がよろしくない。 最上級のおもてなしをとは思っていないが、やる気のない態度と声の小ささでよく聞こえない。 レジでの支払いも終始ローテンション。

シメの卵が、2人前なのに1つしかなかったのでそれをスタッフに聞くも、 「私は分かりません」 との返答。

いやいや、スタッフが分からないのに客であるこちらはもっと分からないんですけど。

結局のところ、1人前には卵は1つつくが、2人前でも何故か1つの謎仕様。 3人から2つ、ということだがメニュー表にはその記載はなかった。

メニューの表記を追加するとか、もっと分かりやすくしたほうがいいと思う。 金曜の夜なのにお客様さんが異様に少なくておかしいとは思ったが…。

The Agu pork was sweet and rich, the vegetables were fresh, and the texture was delicious. However, the customer service and menu descriptions are not good. We just wandered in without a reservation. Lucky for us to get a table on a weeknight!. It was a popular spot! We ordered 3 Chaboo sets and 2 Chaboo luxury sets and there were good amount of food.
