Acai bowls have never interested me. Something about bowl full of yogurt and fruit for a hefty price seemed silly to me. Honestly, if I'm hungry, I want a sandwich or something hefty. However, after a hot day, I was hungry, but nothing fried or hot sounded good. My friend mentioned she wanted an acai bowl, and I decided to give it a try... and then I fell in love. The ladies working were very nice and patient as I decided what to get. I got an acai bowl with a pina colada made with butterfly pea flowers. The bowl I got had so many delicious elements from goji berries, toasted coconut chunks (my favorite in the bowl), and even a honey comb! I HIGHLY recommend stopping in and getting a refreshing bowl and delicious drink, especially on a hot day.
