We googled and decided to try here. Highly recommend! The lady boss is super friendly and accommodating – we didn't have a reservation, but she managed to squeeze us into a shared room. The food was fantastic and generous, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. A wonderful dining experience! All the dishes were nice especially the eel rice. The small dishes were great with all great and unique tastes. This place is in a quiet corner but if you google it, you won't miss it! Came here due to the great reviews and absolutely no regrets (was worried about getting turned away even) we were immediate seated at around 6.50pm on a weekday dinner.

Very homely family run restaurant! They had english translation menu available. Price is affordable with about 4 pax worth of food, with a beer and a sake, costing a bit less than 8000 yen! Their chawanmushi is huge and has sweet tasting cabbage in it, a definite must try, but requires a 20 min wait that's worth it. Special shout-out to their assorted roll which is fresh, tasty and the perfect amount of chewiness from the ika (squid).
