Restaurant L LOTA — Restaurant in Nakijin

I probably shouldve taken pictures of the food, but this was absolutely the worst place I experienced with the service in Okinawa and Japan. The server immediately left upon taking my order and did not consider to take my parents order as he came to our table, so my parents had to ask him that they didnt get to give him their order once he came back. We ordered 2 steak, 3 grilled fish, 2 french toast, 2 ginger ale and a mango dessert in total.

The steak was rather raw in the middle, even though we requested for it to be cooked medium well, so we just decided to not complain and eat it anyways except for my mom who had it sent back to the chef for a little more cooked. After we finished the steak and the fish, we realized that the french toast never came so we told them it never came even 20 minutes after we ate the fish and steak. Upon giving them that notice, it took us another 20 minutes to just accept that it may never be arriving since the chef in the kitchen didnt seem to be making anything. We then got up to just leave and all of a sudden the french toast was now made a whole hour after we've been at this cafe. We told them we'll just take it to go, so me and my dad just went to the car, but it seems they took this as an opportunity to try and take advantage of my mom who doesnt know how to speak Japanese and kept telling her that the french toast did come, and that they will be charging us TWO more french toast on top of the previous ones that never even did come. Dont come here if you dont know how to speak Japanese, or just make sure to record/take pictures of all the food that came to your table. On top of being pricy enough already, they will try and steal your money. Be careful.

Atmosphere was nice, but not worth it. They also seemed to laugh at us for ordering 2 of the same dishes for 1 person.

I really do wanna give this cafe a 1 star rating based off my experience with the service, but I'd like to still try and remain neutral and as honest as possible with the food and atmosphere. The food was just decent enough, but there is a lot of unnecessary garnish that adds absolutely nothing to the flavor of the main dish. I will say that the interior and the view of the ocean is pretty nice along with there being good AC.

..But still not worth the price even if the service was fine to begin with. Just remember that no matter how nicely plattered the food is, it doesnt mean the quality and taste will be exceptionally good. Dont be decieved by how neat it looks in the pictures.

It might be worth a visit for locals who like some Italian cuisine but I wouldn’t suggest it to tourists. The food was okay but the portions were really small. Almost shocking were the prices compared to other restaurants on Okinawa with similar or higher quality. The biggest rip-off was a table fee of 800yen per person that we first saw on the bill as it’s written in small letters at the bottom of the menu. お世話になりました。 Table checkで予約の上伺いました。 今の嫁と付き合っていた時期からOne suiteグループには沖縄に来る度に世話になってます。 今は無き＆花ステイの頃からエルロタの料理が好きで、去年は当時4歳の娘と一緒に訪問し、充実した時間を過ごしました。 多分もうエルロタに来る事は無いでしょう。事情が有っての事とは思いますが、受け入れ可能な子供の年齢に変更があったと伺いました。それを踏まえた上で、今回友人家族との同伴が出来るかを予約の際に明記していました。 子供達の年齢を明確に記載しておりましたが、特に返事がありませんでしたので問題無いと判断し伺ったのですが、会計を済ませた後に、とても不快な対応をされました。 まるで二度と来るなと言う様な、塩でもまかれた気分になりました。 子供達が五月蝿いと言うのは人それぞれの判断なので、私が充分に注意出来なかったと言うのもお店側の勝手で言える部分と思います。 しかし我々が入店した時に既に同じ年頃(4-7歳)の子供達がいたので、柔軟に運営していると考えましたが、退店の時にまるで待ち構えていた様に注意をするのは如何なものかと思います。食事を終えたタイミングにそんなに気分を悪くさせる事に何の意味がありますか？ もし子供の音が営業の邪魔になる様なら予約を拒否して貰えてれば他の店に行って済む話です。 友人家族と共にOne suite terraceに4泊をしながらこんな仕打ちを受ける事はどう考えても間違ってます。 食事中にも注意を頂いたので途中からは子供達を皆連れて店の外に出ていたのにわざわざ会計後にそんな訳の分からない不快な忠告をする意味は“もう来るな”意外は考えられません。素敵な思い出が沢山ある店ですがご希望通りもう行きません。二度とお邪魔する事は無いでしょう。エルロタにもOne suiteグループの何処にも。 その間お世話になりました。さようなら。

24.4.25 오키나와에서 가장 사랑하는 레스토랑.

코로나 이전부터 오키나와에 올 때마다 찾는 곳입니다. 예전에는 코스요리를 중심으로 운영이 되던 때도 있었는데 지금은 단품으로 주문이 가능해 졌습니다. 코스에서 단품 위주로 변경된 부분은 아이와 함께하는 입장에서는 정말 기쁘고 고마운 변화였습니다. 아이의 식성과 상태를 고려해서 다양한 메뉴를 꾸릴 수 있는 점이 좋았습니다.

모든 요리가 정말로 너무나 훌륭하지만 오키나와의 섬채소를 사용한 요리들이 특히나 좋았습니다. 식재료에 대한 높은 이해도와 지역에 대한 애정이 느껴지는 디쉬들이라 먹는 내내 정말 즐거웠습니다. 음료 메뉴의 다양성도 높고, 스태프 분들의 응대도 아주 다정하고 친절해서 아이와 함께 하면서도 적당히 술을 곁들이는 즐거운 식사를 할 수 있었습니다.

이날의 스페셜 메뉴는 오리로스트였는데, 아이가 정말 좋아하며 손으로 들고 한덩이를 다 뜯어먹을 정도로 맛이 좋았습니다.
