Very disappointing experience. We went to this ice shop hoping to enjoy a treat, but were met with unfriendly service right from the start. They do not allow sharing — each person must order one item, even if you just want to try something together. We weren’t even allowed to sit down to look at the menu or take a moment to decide. At first, they didn’t provide an English menu, which made it harder to order. You have to order at the counter before sitting — no exceptions. Attractive signage brought us in. The Yakuzen spicy keema curry was full of spice without being hot, Excellent for a cold day! Note a pleasant surprise the white rice was low-carb. Kids meal was actually delicious (especially the hamburger) with all the bits kids want to eat. Persimmon salad dressing gets an honourable mention as full bodied and balanced acidity. 300% hidden gem. If you have had shaved iced desserts, you have not had the best yet.

The strawberry one to the Apple cherry were delicious and very light.

Then the iced matcha lattes, so creamy and not too sweet

Staff were very friendly and accommodating despite us not knowing Japanese.
