I was there yesterday (28 April) and when I want to order I notice that the ingredients contains pork so I asked the girl staff and she explained the pork is from curry sauce. So I ordered their chuck tail menu without curry sauce since I muslim and don’t eat pork so my request was not intended to get the discount.

The OLD MAN JAPANESE CASHIER give me attitude saying no discount in a rude way he event pointing at the POS Screen also the ladies staff at the front made me wait for my food even though my food was ready she even did not apologize to me. (Please check your CCTV 5 pm , you can see I waited)

This is my first time being treated this way in Japan restaurant and I’ve been to Kyoto gyukatsu other branches. My first time at Kyoto gyukatsu harajuku I spent more than 20.000 yen with my husband, second time in Kyoto gyukatsu Jakarta.

Please train your staff so he can have good manner when communicate with people, it’s just a curry sauce why would I need discount?

Ps: the other staff the dishwasher man was nice unlike the old cashier and the lady he even say thank you to me when I...

My first time eating Gyukatsu, and oddly it's in the airport. This is not the kind where you are given a heating rack and adjust your own meat's doneness. If you sit on the counter, you can see the chef prepare your slab of meat, fry it, and cut it to size (savour the crunch sound!). For best pairing, ask the staff for complimentary cold green tea.

We ordered both the Wagyu and the regular Japanese beef varieties, for comparison purpose. If the regular beef was tender, the Wagyu variety was beyond amazing. The Wagyu meat took almost no effort to chew, and the breading preserved the tenderness of the meat. If you have but one choice, go for the Wagyu.

The meal comes with six ways to season your meat, which are described on a piece of paper. I personally like the radish and dashi combo for the regular beef, as well as the onsen egg for the Wagyu (can't get too much buttery taste!). The fun of experimenting alone is worth the stop on your transit...

Had my last meal in Tokyo here. Wasn’t expecting much originally but this restaurant absolutely changed my stereotype towards airport shops!!!

Chose the no.3 set and added a matcha soda. The japanese beef was super tender. Matcha taste was rich with sparkling scent. My personal pick for the sauces were onsen egg japanese radish wasabi & dashi sauce pepper salt gyukatsu sauce curry (didn’t order the set with chilli miso sauce). It was my personal opinion tho, may not apply to all I think(?

Forgot to mention that the staff gave me a cup of japanese tea the minute I sat down. Wasn’t expecting that in an airport restaurant.

In general, a very good experience!!! Although not cheap for a set, a must-try restaurant in Tokyo. Definitely leaving a memorable experience and makes you wanna visit again.

Thank you Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu for this experience....

I try and eat here every time my layover allows. Where else are you getting a wagu strak and a draft beer for $45USD??, and at the airport no less. The Gyukatsu #1 is my choice, and it comes with a bunch of amazing sauces, salts, soft egg, wasabi, rice, cabbage salad, and Miso soup. The steak by itself is amazing, cooked perfectly, every time with an automated fryer. My top 3 sauces are the dashi soy and Gyukatsu sauces bot with added Wasabi, and of course, the first bite is always drenched in the Onsen egg yoke. Staff is very friendly and works so quickly knowing you might have limited time. The experience when they are busy is a show in itself, with them calling out orders in a cadence that sounds like they are singing, absolutely a delight. If you have time in Natria airport, check them out, I think you'll be as delighted as I have been
