Kaoruya Nagata — Restaurant in Niigata

I have been there just once, but if it wasn't for my short stay in Niigata I would have been there definitly often. The restaurant is small, but very comfortable (example: Not noisy at all) - I got my table right at the the entrance, but it was definitly not a bad spot. The staff and also the chef were so friendly, we had a small language barrier between us, but even so we tried our best and it worked out. But I have to say, that I can speak Japanese a little bit. So if you are foreign and can't speak japanese, it could be a bit difficult, but please try your best!

It was fascinating that I could observe almost everything the master did behind the counter while cooking. I had some meat and tako-teppanyaki. It was so good, I wish I could eat more of those.

I really had a good time and I recommend the restaurant everyone who loves Teppanyaki as I do.

At least the selection of the menus is surprisly large, so you will definitly find a meal that fit you :) There are more than Tako-Teppanyaki and meat...
