I found out about this place after my hostel had it listed. I thought I'd take a break from Japanese food and try some some comfort Indian food for me with some Biryani. I had the medium sized chicken biryani and it hit the spot. It came with a side of raita. My family's restaurant also serves Biryani and it was authentic Biryani to me. The spice level was a little lower but it was perfect for me and they have pepper on the side if you want to increase the heat. I had the berry Lassi after because I never had a berry Lassi and it was amazing! Lassi is always a good way to cool down from Biryani. I hope berry Lassi gets picked up more at other places, I might see if they can pull it off at my family's restaurant ;) Johnny is super friendly and has been to India over 10 times. Seems like he is genuinely interested in spreading his love for Indian culture and flavour and there's something really wholesome about that. I wish Johnny success and I recommend people try it if they want a break from Japanese food for a value price.

I have been to a lot of Indian restaurant in Japan, looking for home like comfort food. This was the most authentic Indian food ever. Biryani for super delicious (being and Indian i know how difficult it is to cook biryani perfectly). Sambar, rasam, chicken curry, aloo sabzi, all the spices were in right proportion and cooked properly. Everything was fresh and i could feel the made with love feeling. I am a chai lover(Indian milk tea/masala tea) and very specific about it. Chai was awesome and i am beyond satisfied. I was surprised that the owner was Japanese. Being an Indian I cannot recommend enough, if you actually want to try authentic Indian food, that’s your place to go.

今日のお昼はビリヤニ。 お持ち帰りで食べてみました(^^) 先月からランチメニューにひつじ肉も登場するようになったようで、食べてみたかったのです。 前にお店でチキンとビーフを食べたので今日は違うメニューをってこともあってね(^^)

お持ち帰りの容器はA5サイズ一回り小さめ、その代わり高さがあります。 アプリでの注文は量が選べない感じだったんだけど、Ｓ・Ｍ・Ｌ等直接お願いすれば作って貰えるようです。 ただ、お持ち帰りでは“パクチー”を付けて貰えない！ 生野菜はダメなんだそうです。 なんで？ パクチー無いと味がボヤけちゃうよ。

ひつじビリヤニのLを食べてみました♪ 容器の縁、ちょい山盛りに入っています。ちなみにMは容器の縁スレスレくらい。 骨付きひつじ肉がゴロゴロ、フライドオニオンもパラッ、カルダモンも所々に、あと分からない大きな真っ黒スパイス。 中から種らしき粒々が出て来ました、これは何？ さすがに分かりませんでした (^^ゞ

ん～やっぱりパクチーが欲しい！ 味のインパクトが足りない！ お弁当の色合いもサミシイ！

そして、(結構)全体的に塩味が濃い。

夏だから塩味効かせてあるのかな？ ちょっとキツイ、塩辛いよ～(泣)...
